School Story:
A happy Kenmoron. Have been playing various forms of jazz for 50 years on multiple saxophones and clarinets (one at a time!). Attended U.B. from 1966 to 1973. Favorite school....Hoover! The teachers at Ken West were the best and were better at giving knowledge then any others I ever had in college. My hat is off to them all, Especially Miss Scott (English). I was a music nerd and didn't have a lot of friends, as I lived on Grand Island. I am saddened that almost all my friends have passed on, however I have wonderful memories of playing with Tom Grenier and Tom Englert (who graduated in the Summer). Both my buddies are gone and I often think of them and K-West when I play a concert. I also played with Bob Ortolano and a few others in the rock band, the "Madmen". Credit also to John Stone, a musical genius, who played the greatest rock guitar and still lives in Kenmore. Time flies-best wishes to all.
