Ms. Schwabe taught me both biology & advanced biology.  One of my favorite teachers.  Remember dissecting the snapping turtle!

There could not have been a better and more caring person, so devoted. I remeber being in Lab Squad when we were sent home because J.F. Kennedy was killed.

No one who was ever in her class could forget Miss Schwabe: she loved teaching and she cared about all of her students. Certainly one of the very best teachers I have been fortunate enough to know.

Miss Schwabe was by far my favorite teacher ever. She was so very devoted to her students and their success. Not an easy teacher - really pushed us to our limits and our very best.

Miss Schwabe was absolutely amazing! I remember growing bull frog tadpoles with her in 10th grade.  When I got to college I didn't take biology, but I helped the kids in freshman bio because I had learned so much in her class! And yes of course I remember that we are "fearfully and wonderfully made!"

She was one of the best, "In there."

"Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire". Ms. Schwabe lit that fire of inspiration for so many of us and we are grateful for it in our lives.

I never had her as a teacher, but she was very familiar to me. Imagine this - she was only 8 years older than we were when she was such a beloved educator.

Miss Schwabe was an inspiration to those of us who shared the experience in Biology class and Biology lab squad.   She assisted me in my presentation for the Western New York Science Congress that resulted in a Senior Gold Medal award.   "Fearfully and Wonderfully Made!"

Miss Schwabe has influenced me my entire adult life. I was lucky enough to have her for both biology and advanced biology and loved every minute of her class. She and Mr Clarke are who inspired me to become a high school biology and chemistry teacher.  They both cared for and respected their students and I tried to emulate that every day in my own classroom.
