I had Mr. Carr for tenth grade world history.  I remember he would put columns of dates on the board for us to identify.  Because we were sat alphabetically, I was the first to start.  Of course I couldn't get through all of them but after retiring from teaching I went back and am taking all kinds of history courses and am richer for the experience.  Thank you, Mr. Carr.

Funny the differences we had. I disliked Mr. Carr more than any teacher I ever had. Could be I hated history or maybe we had a personality clash. I do hope he is RIP.

Our paths crossed after High School graduation. He was the same guy outside the classroom as when he was teaching. He shocked me calling me Jon rather than "Mr Costello"
