Edward Kruse (Teacher)

 Edward L. Kruse Jr. of Grand Island, who was a foreign language teacher at Kenmore West High School, died Saturday (Dec. 30, 2000) in Buffalo General Hospital. He was 71.  He graduated from Tonawanda High School and went on to receive a bachelor's degree from Canisius College and a master's degree in education from the University of Buffalo. Besides his work at Kenmore West, Kruse taught several courses at Canisius College and Niagara University.  He served in the Army during the Korean War.  Survivors include his mother, Anna M. of Grand Island, and a sister, Mary Ann Arsenault of Tucson, Ariz.

Robert Tollini

He loved Latin and he caused many of us to love Latin too.  He was devoted to his teaching and his students.'

He covered the clock one week and the cover's message was... "time will pass, will you?"
