Of Town of Tonawanda, NY, April 16, 2023. Beloved husband of 48 years
to Beverly (Archer) McTigue. Dear father of P.J. (Andy) Murdie and Robert (Trish) McTigue II. Loving Papa of Cameron, Jacob, Madison and Alex. Brother of John (Cathy) McTigue, James (late Nancy) McTigue, Mary Pat (late Don) Garrett and the late Rev. Norman McTigue and Josita Battaglia. Brother in law of James (Debra) Battaglia, Jacqueline Blackley, Thomas (Janice) Archer and Sharon Johnson. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Robert's Life on Sunday April 23rd 4-8 pm at the Golf Dome 175 Brompton Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday April 24th at 9:00 am at St. Amelia Church 2999 Eggert Rd. followed by interment with Military Honors at Elmlawn Memorial Park. (Family and friends invited). Mr. McTigue was an Air Force Veteran who served in Vietnam. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to wnyheroes.org.
