As so many of our classmates have wriiten, such a nice person. It seems he was always smiling. Last time I talked to him was at our class reunion. He shared positive thoughts of his days since high school. Sad to hear of his passing.

Tom was always a friendly, smiling guy. I remember going to swim meets and cheering him and the other guys on!  As others have said, it seems like the best ones are gone first!!  Condolences to his family.

Lip and I were neighbors and best friends. We walked to school every day. On days off, depending on the weather, we played basketball in his driveway, or hockey in a neighbors back yard. My condolences to Marilyn and the family. Lip, may you Rest In Peace . Looking forward to seeing you again.

I've known Tom since grade school. He was my best friend and the best man in my wedding to another KW graduate; Carole Lamon.  We double dated, swam together for KW, learned to drive, boated, water skied, and spent many joyful days at his family home on Grand Island and at the Sandy Beach Yacht Club.  So many of the memories of the  "firsts" in my life are associated with Tom that I won't (and shouldn't) try to enumerate.

As juniors at Kenmore, together with seniors Rick Averil and Dick Watkins, we set the state record for the 400 Medlay Relay.  We relied on Tom to anchor that relay just as he could be counted on for the steadfast friendship and loyalty he gave throughout his life to his family and friends.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  My condolences to Marilyn and the entire family.

Tom and I and Alex go way back to young teen days at Sandy Beach also through swimming for Hoover, and the town. He and Alex became very close after both had served in Viet Nam. He has been in part of our life touchinng base with each other frequentlyi. We are shocked and saddened tremendously by his passing. He always sounded so happy and optimistic on the calls we shared, it took is by surprise. We love and miss him. Rest in peace dear friend. Love and regards to Marilyn and family, thinking of you. Judy and Alex

Although Tom and I traveled in different circles in high school, we became best friends after graduation along with Alex Murchison, Paul Schifferli, Peter Sain, Mark Hughes, Dick Mooshie and several others. Before Tom and Marilyn moved to North Carolina, he and I would meet for lunch about once a month. Because we had different friends at KW, working with Tom and the rest of the 50th reunion squad was really an adventure. I spoke with Tom a couple of weeks before he passed and I'm so glad we did... My heart goes out to Marilyn, his kids, his grandkids, his sister and all his friends whose lives he touched.. Rest in Peace, my very good friend...
