Donald Anderson

Services for Donald R. Anderson, 48, of Farmington, a former Kenmore resident, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Lester H. Wedekindt Funeral Home, 3290 Delaware Ave., Town of Tonawanda.

Anderson died Wednesday (Aug. 23, 1995) in Thompson Memorial Hospital, Canandaigua.

Born in Kenmore , he was a 1965 graduate of Kenmore West High School and served in the Army as a radio operator in the Vietnam War.

A graduate of Buffalo State College, he worked for Eastman Kodak Co. in Rochester before joining R.F. Communications, a division of Harris Corp., in 1975 as a production engineer.

He was president of the Rochester Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Society, a former president of the Sheridan Park Golf Club and a past president of the Green Acres Bowling League.

Surviving are his wife of 22 years, the former Barbara Slagor; a son, Brian of Farmington; his parents, Ralph and Ruth of Kenmore ; two brothers, Richard of Hamburg and Jerry of Lockport, Ill.; and a sister, Linda.

 DON WAS A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE. THE LAST TIME I SAW HIM HE CAME TO HOUSTON TX. TO VISIT. DON MYSELF HOWIE AND GEORGE B. PLAYED ALOT POOL  . IAM  SOORY YOU ARE GONE . SEE YOU UP THERE  WHEN MY TURN COMES UP AND WE WILL PLAY SOME POOL. GEORGE HOWE
