Many years after graduation, I ran into John in the most coincidental circumstances, and we kind of made acquaintance again. We stayed in contact and got to know each other better, laughed at some past experiences, and put it all in perspective. He was happy with his life, especially his daughters and grandchildren. I was saddened to hear of his sudden passing. It makes  you reflect on our past youth and the passage of time.

John was one of my best friends in HS. We used to drive to class together in his big Buick. Spent more a few days at Shirkston Beach and downed a few at the Kenmore Tavern. John was a good guy and I was privileged to know him.

John and I were good friends in late grade school and Junior high. I later ended up working with him frequently in the 1980's when he was at WKBW Engineering in Buffalo and I was working for an electronics company. Sad to see him gone.
