She worked for the Bloomfield Central School District, driving a school bus for many years, before transferring to the audio visual department. Mary was described by Bloomfield alumni as someone who made everyone feel welcomed and loved. She had a passion for carpentry and built a variety of things, including furniture, decks and small craft items. In 1980, she and Charles built their home in Bloomfield where they lived with their family before moving to Canandaigua in 2002 where she and Charles again built their home. Throughout her life, Mary had been involved with photography. She used her talents in the school system and in her private life, generously taking pictures of school functions, sporting events and family gatherings. For the past eight years, she had been a huge support to the Ontario County 4-H horse program, photographing daily at the county fair every year. After leaving Bloomfield schools in 1994, Mary completed a nursing program at BOCES, where she earned her licensed practical nursing degree. She began working for Taylor Publishing and later worked in a call center at Xerox, until she retired in 2002. Mary enjoyed horseback riding on the trails on the family farm, in Canandaigua. She had been described as a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul. Mary was a very involved member at Calvary Chapel, regularly attending worship services and bible studies. Her faith in Jesus Christ was unshakable. Friends may call on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Calvary Chapel, 1777 Route 332, Farmington.
