VATER, SUSAN E (Highland). Age 60, of Collier Twp., on Tuesday, March 18, 2008. A singer with the South Hills Chorale, for over ten years. She enjoyed water color painting and attending South Hills Bible Chapel. Loving mother of Lisa (Chris) Ross, Gary (Becky) Vater and Elaine (Carter) Zierden; devoted grandmother of Taylor and Abby Ross and Kian Vater. Friends received Thursday, 2-9pm in the WARCHOL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA (412-221-3333). A service will be held Friday, 11am in South Hills Bible Chapel, Peters Twp.

Miss you everyday ! We stayed best friends even though we lived miles apart in the later years. We stood up for each other's weddings and she was my sons Godmother. I was her daughter Lias's Godmother and I am sorry to say Lisa passed away at age 45, a few short years after Susy's passing. I will always miss you!

Grew up with Sue on Victoria Blvd, Kenmore along with Rennie Skipworth. The neighborhood called us the three muskaterrs. Sue was such a good person and always had a good time with her. Sadly in high school we had not stayed close but always talked when we saw each other. I will remember the good times with her and Rennie. RIP Sue
