Jeff Citron

Jeffrey M. Citron, former information services manager at the Davis, Augello, Matteliano and Gersten law firm, died Wednesday (March 3, 2004) in Buffalo General Hospital after a brief illness. He was 57.

He was born in Buffalo and lived for all of his adult life in the city. He was a graduate of Kenmore West High School and the University at Buffalo, where he received a bachelor's degree in liberal arts.

Mr. Citron enjoyed music, painting watercolor abstracts, playing softball and spending time with friends on the Elmwood strip and Merlin's.

He also enjoyed spending summers at his family's home in Port Colborne, Ont., and making an annual trip to New York City for Thanksgiving holidays with a sister.

Survivors include his parents, Betty Klein of Williamsville and Dr. Ralph and Bernice of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Port Colborne; two sisters, Penny Lippman of Coral Gables, Fla., and Patti Burr of Manhattan; and three brothers, Peter of Coconut Grove, Fla., and Doug Citron and Greg Davis, both of Snyder.

Services will be Sunday in Forest Lawn Chapel immediately following a 1:30 p.m. visitation there
