ASHVILLE – William R. Adamson, 67, of Ashville, died Thursday (January 29, 2015) in the Veterans Hospital in Buffalo, NY
He was born June 14, 1947 in Buffalo, NY the son of the late William and Janet Cammack Adamson.
Bill owned and operated Tamcar Tractor Parts in Ashville.
He was a member of the North Harmony Senior Center, and was a former member of the Town of North Harmony Town Board.
Bill enjoyed talking about tractors and working on them.
He is survived by a daughter Tammy Adamson-Brown; a foster son, Norm Green, and a sister, Linda Ostrowski.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Patrick Adamson; and a daughter, Dawn Marie Adamson.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Tuesday in the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Wild Rose Cemetery in Ashville.
